Physical Difficulties > Foot |
June 6th, 2008
When Fr. Glen was at Our Lady of Hope in Potomac Falls in February, the Lord
healed my aching feet. I have had this problem for 1 ½, ever since my sister had
been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
The Lord did two things that night. I was overpowered in the Spirit and I was
able to walk quickly in the church rejoicing and praising God. It has always
been a dream of mine to be able to dance like David danced and that night, the
Lord granted my dream. Who would have thought that at 61 years old God would
grant such a gift to me?
At Saturday night Mass, Fr Glen read the gospel on the Samaritan women and he
asked me to stand up. He asked me to stand up that night and to acknowledge my
healing, I did. He sat and talked with us afterwards.
Our Lord gently tapped me on the shoulder to remind me of my healing gift, I am
working with my parish priest on this issue.
I am so sorry to be late in this email after Father asked me to email him. I was
starting to feel convicted.
Fr. Saunders our pastor, now calls me "happy feet". I must say there is not a
church event that people do not stop and ask me about my feet and my healing.
Here is a gift that just keeps on giving. Talk about evangelism.
God Bless all of you and your work for the Lord and His glory

HEALING SERVICE APRIL 20, 2008
Father Fontana had a very powerful impact upon the parish. On Friday, February 29th, two priests heard confessions for 3 hours; on Monday 3rd, four priest heard confessions for almost five hours each. I have been ordained twenty-four years, and I was overwhelmed at not only the quality of confessions but also the number of people who had been away from the sacrament for a very long time. Since then, we had an extraordinary number of confessions during lent.
Also, we did have three physical healings of which I know: a woman who was waiting for lung transplant can now breathe normally, a woman who had foot problems can walk without pain; and a man with spinal problems has no pain.
Thank you Bishop Jenky for allowing Father Fontana to provide this healing ministry throughout the country. We hope to welcome him back sometime next year. He is clearly a gifted and dynamic priest.

From CF, March 25th, 2008:
Dear Fr. Fontana,
My boss is "Happy Feet" as her nickname now is after the healing service
here!
I am still amazed at how the healing service has such beautiful and powerful
effects on everyone still!
We work at Reston hospital and your visit has renewed many spirits and souls
looking for healing in many ways.
This week a pregnant woman that you blessed delivered a small but healthy
baby boy. Her parents are new Catholics (her father was an Episcopal
bishop).
The healing continues to open our hearts and we are very grateful for your
service to so many.
I pray that your Texas trip went well and that you have a blessed Easter.
God Love You,
CF
